It is fun to see the pictures from Nova Scotia. It looks likenour honeymoon! We went to Lunenberg. We rented a tandem bicycle instead of a car. Lovely days.

Oh, I love that you rented a tandem! We've talked of doing that!

Ah what can I say. You two are brave and free. And it IS absurd as your *husband* said (congrats on the husband and wife status hehe) that he was tired searching for sleeping spots - as if sleeping is illegal (sorry can’t remember exactly how you wrote it.) It’s also absurd that we have a name for feet on earth… “grounding” … anyway won’t yabber on but was such a lovely read. Excited me greatly. I’ll share it with my husband. Lord knows this is the freedom he dreams of!

AWw thank you!! Yes, you're correct! This world is so absurd to not care of most things and then to think that a man doesn't deserve a night of sleep, but should be kicked awake! What insanity.

Absolutely beautiful, what an epic beginning to your adventure of life together! My main exposure to Canada has been through L.M. Montgomery, so being taken along with you via your lovely photos and keen writing was a gift.

My first exposure to Canada was via L. M. Montgomery, too!! We hope to go to Prince Edward Island sometime (we passed it by).

Your adventures and approach to life and how you articulate it in story form really inspire me! 😊

That's so kind of you to say! I simply don't believe in waiting until retirement to do the things there are to do!!

Sounds like there were many wonderful little stories inside your trip. I love that you went, without a plan, and let life happen. I found your expression of "not wanting to talk about" your bare feet quite amusing. :) I have been there...

Yes, going without a plan is the only way to keep sane on such wild trip as this. You simply can't control time when you're rolling with it and sticking your thumb to the wind! Haha, I'm glad you relate to the barefeet. I really don't get why it's an issue for people.

You'd love it, Mercy! It was the coolest historical site I've ever seen, and well-organized and ran, and let go wild in all the right ways. I'd never heard of it before we went, so it felt like the most pleasant surprise -- almost like I was among the vikings discovering it with them!!!
